“The Touring Fan Live” live streamed Rockin' For a Cure on April 24th and it featured a mix of live music and speakers talking about Parkinson’s Disease and the APDA (American Parkinson's Disease Association). The Goal was to raise as much money for APDA as possible to help as many people affected by Parkinson's as possible.
This event means a lot to me as my Aunt, Arlene Krysiewic, was diagnosed with Parkinson’s in 2019. Sadly, this disease has taken over her life. This event was created to honor her by raising funds for the APDA, an organization that works to provide outstanding patient services, educational programs, and supports research designed to unlock the mysteries of PD, and ultimately put an end to this disease.
Unfortunately, treatment and care for those with Parkinson’s disease is not always covered by insurance, so that is where we are focusing our efforts. All funds (100%) raised by “Rockin’ for a Cure” are going directly to ADPA to help families who need financial assistance obtaining treatments or care for a loved one with Parkinson’s disease.
